Dunbars number

Robin Dunbar was an anthropologist that cleverly worked out the number of people with who one can maintain stable social relationships. That number is widely held to be 150 and could be the perfect basis for the optimal number for a research community, but it includes real life relationships which, of course, wouldn’t happen.
